There are many opportunities to get involved at God's Way.

Below is a list of ministry teams, groups and volunteer opportunities that will allow you to use your gifts and talents.

The Worship Ministry consists of a team of believers that are called not only to worship the Lord, but to facilitate the worship experience by leading the congregation into the presence of the Lord through song, dance, flag and pageantry.

We purpose to create a welcoming atmosphere for the Spirit of the Lord to manifest and dwell during each gathering.  We invite you to freely worship God in your own unique way.

Unique Fact:  Each member of the worship team is an elder or leader at God's Way.  We are Leaders...Leading in Worship!

Psalm 149:3 - Let them praise his name in the dance: let them sing praises unto him with the timbrel and harp

The mission of the Dance Ministry at God's Way is to promote and exhibit the spirit of worship through movement. Our primary focus is to develop and advocate the skills of various genres of dance, choreography and freestyle movement while creating a team centered around unity and personal spiritual growth.

We strive to push the boundaries of traditional movement by fusing different styles of dance while continually seeking the guidance of the Holy Spirit

Children's Ministry

The Children’s Ministry of engages children ages 2 to 12 years toward the advancement of the Kingdom. The Children’s Ministry assembles every other Sunday after congregational worship, in which the children are encouraged to freely participate.  The children are introduced to the Gospel through Praise and Worship, Bible Stories, Prayer, Music, Dance, Flags, Puppets and Crafts.

The children meet every other Sunday morning directly after worship.  For specific dates, click the calendar link at the top of the page.

"But whoso hath this world’s good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion for him, how dwelleth the love of God in him?" - I John 3:17 (KJV)

Community Outreach/Evangelism is a ministry that we all share.  It includes everyone that acknowledges a need and wants to respond to the cause. We all have the ability to see different needs and in effect help the whole body of Christ.  It is not only our assignment to witness but also to show love and attend to those experiencing calamity.  That is why it is a charge to everyone.

The prayer ministry is a team of individuals that are praying with and for others, events, situations, and anything else God may put on our hearts. The early church prayed together and for one another all the time (Acts 1:14). Prayer was a foundational principle (Acts 2:42).

It is our goal to make each person feel special, important and show the love of Christ upon arrival.  The greeters welcome all into the church in such a way that both members and non-members will be ready to feel and receive the move of the Holy Spirit.

The greeter ministry is one of the most visible in the church.  Greeters are excited about God’s Way and consider it is a privilege to serve in this capacity.

We look forward to greeting you at our next God's Way Service!

Duties of an Armor Bearer

Armor bearers are selected by church pastors or ministry leaders to support them, especially with prayer. Armor Bearer is used because in Biblical times, an officer was selected by kings or military personnel due to bravery, to assist them in dangerous times and to bear their armor.

The job description for the armor bearer is as varied as the leader the armor bearer serves.

The purpose of the Security Ministry is to provide a safe and peaceful environment for the congregation to worship and to protect and serve the congregation of God’s people in their house of worship.
